What Will You Do

Being Business Development Manager Benelux at Colect means being responsible for the full sales cycle. You will generate new sales focusing on clients in the Benelux region, the United Kingdom and other parts of Europe. You will develop and execute a business plan that will grow direct sales (new clients and upsell to existing clients), indirect sales via our existing partner network, and Colect’s brand and market share in these regions.

Your sales activities involve visiting existing and new clients, tradeshows and other industry or network events, as well as remote or inside sales. You will build lasting relationships with senior executives and decision makers at existing and potential clients.

You will be responsible for in-depth, broad-based sales presentations of the entire Colect B2B solution suite. You will manage the entire sales cycle, from RFI/RFP/RFQ request to dealing with closure and account management.

While maintaining your in-depth knowledge of Colect’s industry, trends and competitors, you will consistently meet or exceed sales targets to ensure company revenue objectives are met. You will work closely with key internal stakeholders and establish effective relationships, while contributing to internal and external events as well as the overall progression of the company.

Job requirements

  • 3+ years of sales experience with a strong track record in selling software and/or digital solutions

  • Commercially savvy, great ability to identify new sales opportunities, influence the deal process and drive conversion

  • Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeded annual targets

  • Applied Sciences (HBO) or university degree

  • Ability to develop and foster effective (international) client relationships

  • Ready to work with rapidly evolving digital technology in a commercial environment

  • Great interpersonal skills: confident, charismatic and a strong presence

  • Active listener, excellent negotiation & presentation skills

  • Fluent in Dutch and excellent English language skills, another European language would be a plus

  • Experience with SaaS, B2B, fashion wholesale or related organizations is a big plus
